About Us
At The Perspective Theatre Company, we devise, write, present and perform drama modules and workshops based on contemporary issues such as drugs, alcohol and domestic violence. Our client base includes schools, colleges, universities, all Liverpool Approved Premises, Bail Hostels, Homeless hostels and Probation programmes amongst others.
We are continually adding to our programme which ensures we are always relevant and up to date. Telling someone they’re not the only one feeling jaded and isolated has a wonderful unifying dimension. We have seen this many times on our visits through the Criminal Justice system. We use this thinking as a potent conduit on the way back to the mainstream. We are guided by: Mental-Health Professionals, Criminal Justice Officials, Teachers, Social Workers and anybody else we know we can learn from. This list has grown exponentially and enhances every aspect, dimension and area of our work.
A Young doctor told us that she loves working with people with drug/alcohol and other addictive issues, because when they are given love and compassion they recover very quickly. As a doctor this brought her immense satisfaction and pride. We always use this in our modules as a starter for ten, it is something most drug/alcohol users have never thought about and always stimulates positive thinking. It is gold-dust in the context of recovery.
We have spent 30 years delivering and refreshing our material. We know we make a difference. We are always invited back.
